Residence Halls

CSU has designated spaces in Allison, Laurel Village-Alpine, and Summit* specifically for transfer students who wish to live in an on-campus community with others who have recently transferred to CSU. Students who live in the Transfer Residential Communities benefit from several resources that help them acclimate to CSU, including:

• A direct connection with Transfer Transition Leaders
• Program offerings created just for transfer students that provide opportunities to get to know the CSU community get involved

Transfer students are eligible to live in not only transfer-specific communities, but also in several other on-campus Residential Learning Communities (RLCs). These programs are organized to introduce and integrate academic and social learning in residence hall settings through faculty involvement. Students who have been accepted to a Residential Learning Community will have the opportunity to be part of that community regardless of the building in which they are assigned to live.

Several halls also offer premium spaces for any upper-division student (including transfer students). This includes floors in Academic Village-Aspen and Parmelee Hall.*

Aggie Village Apartments

The Aggie Village Apartments are right on CSU’s main campus and eligible for undergraduates, including transfer students. Studios, 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units are available, and apartments come furnished with in-unit laundry, A/C, and all utilities included.

Residential Dining Options

Transfer students who live in the residence halls may select from several meal plan options, including the Any 10, 14, or 21 (meals per week) plans, as well as the premium U Meal Plan that is available to residents who have lived on a college campus for at least 2 full-term semesters (this includes transfer students).

Students who live in the University Apartments or off campus have the option to purchase a CSU Apartment & Off-Campus Meal Plan at a discounted rate, which gives students access to all residential dining facilities on campus.
